A Place To Stay In Derby is situated on Main Road, 750 metres from the head of the Blue Derby trail network, this renovated miner’s cottage sleeps 6 in amazingly comfortable beds with hotel quality linen, comprising a bunk room with 2 king bunks and a bedroom with a king bed which can be split into 2 king single beds upon request. In the new bathroom there is a large shower with the shower rose coming down from the ceiling enabling all but the tallest to shower with legs straight.
The house has a new kitchen with full cooking facilities and has a pod coffee machine to help kick start your day.
With a heat pump and a wood fire, all bases are covered to ensure you are toasty and warm, no matter how wet and cold your day may have been.
For your downtime there are DVDs, books and games, or you can just sit on the front verandah and watch the river (and bikers) flow past.
There is a car port next to the secure shed which is equipped for basic bike maintenance and storage.
A BBQ area with table and chairs is located up behind the house offering views over the rooftops of Derby and up the valley.
The laundry and a second toilet are just outside the back door.
Wifi is provided to enable you to keep those missing out on your adventure up to date.
